Air pacific prepared to deal with financial loss after intro of new service

Fiji's national airline, Air Pacific, says it expects some financial strain with the introduction of new services to Australia's Gold Coast but it is looking for longer term gain.

The two weekly flights will bring to 24 the weekly services between Australia and Fiji.

"Air Pacific's, general manager of Sales and Marketing, Michael Nacola (Na-tho-la) says it will take time for the change to produce a profit, but he says it's the obligation of the airline to introduce new services."
