A supplementary budget of 4 US million dollars has been tabled in Samoa's Parliament.

Samoa's Minister of Finance, Niko Lee Hang, tabled the budget which should see the Government through to the next financial year, six months away.

The Samoa Observer reports about 3 million US dollars came from taxes such as VAGST.

The paper says part of the income in the budget is the close to one million US dollar dividend from Polynesian Blue.

Expenditures in the supplementary budget total 2.5 million dollars

One of the sizable expenditures is 900,000 US dollars for Electric Power Corporation or EPC for Value Added Goods and Services Tax.
