Fiji's interim Prime Minister and Commodore Frank Bainimarama has sent a New Year's message to his nation's troops saying that Fiji remembers them in its prayers.
The message was sent on New Year's eve to troops in Iraq, Sinai and Sudan.
In the letter, the commodore says Fiji is grateful for the sacrifice the troops are making in the name of peace.
He says he encourages them to keep up the good work, and be proud knowing that they have the support of the entire country.
