Fiji's two mobile phone companies, Digicel Fiji and Vodafone Fiji, are offering some free talk-time to their customers as part of its relief assistance.

Fijilive reports that Digicel is offering its prepay customers $20 free credit for Digicel to Digicel calls and 75 free txts to any mobile network.

Vodafone is giving five-dollar free talk-time to all its prepay and postpay customers in a bid to allow its customers, particularly those in flood-stricken areas to communicate with their families and friends.

The head of Vodafone, Aslam Khan, says the company will also match dollar for dollar up to $100,000 every donations via mobile texts that costs 99 cents.
