ACP vows help for Fiji flood victims

The African, Caribbean and Pacific Group has assured Fiji of its willingness to assist in its recovery efforts following the devastating floods, which killed 11 people and caused damages worth at least 31 million US dollars.

The Chairperson of the ACP Committee of Ambassadors, Kadré Désiré Ouedraogo of Burkina Faso, has appealed to member states to donate funds for public assistance in Fiji.

The ACP has already launched an appeal through its missions it Brussels to assist Fiji in its recovery efforts.
