Fiji Football Association has suggested New Zealand become replacement host for the upcoming Oceania Under 17 men's World Cup football qualifiers in April.

Elma MaUa reports

"Fiji was scheduled to host the qualifiers in April in Ba but the western side of the island has been severely affected by the floods. Fiji Football Association President, Doctor Sahu Khan, confirms they've looked to New Zealand for help. We have approached Oceania to host this tournament in New Zealand. Dr Sahu Khan says the floods have also cast doubt on whether Fiji will take part in the qualifiers which include New Zealand, Tahiti, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and New Caledonia."
