New Zealand foreign minister to visit Samoa

The New Zealand foreign minister, Murray McCully, will fly to Samoa today for a two-day visit.

He is due to meet the Head of State, the Prime Minister, and several other public leaders.

Mr McCully says it's a chance for New Zealand to strengthen its relationship with Samoa and its leaders.

Mr McCully says his discussions will cover a number of regional issues, as well as the economic situation, and the situation in Fiji.
