Fiji's Prices and Incomes Board has extended a freeze on residential rents through to the end of this year.
Landlords cannot lift rents about the rates that applied as at March the 2nd in 2007.
A freeze on commercial rents was lifted at the beginning of last month, but landlords wanting to increase their charges need the approval of the Prices and Incomes Board.
