The American Samoa cannery, COS Samoa Packing, is endeavouring to recruit more than 100 new workers.
The company says it needs to hire 150 employees right now to replace former workers who have not returned to work after the 2008 holiday season.
Samoa Packing is enticing workers by pointing out it offers good salaries.
It says its starting pay is $4.26 per hour, and in addition a 13 cent per hour allowance for night or second shift work is offered.
