American Samoa is expected to receive more than 1 million US dollars in home loan program from the U.S. Housing and Urban Development or HUD under provisions of the federal stimulus recovery package.
HUD's program in Pago Pago is administered by the Development Bank of American Samoa.
It recently released information on funds to be received from the stimulus package, known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
