Police woman in Samoa testifies against an Assistant Police Commissioner

The trial has started for an assistant police commissioner in Samoa facing two indecent assault charges and three of common assault.

Moto'otua Tiatia was charged by police in October 2007 after two police women had filed complaints of attempted rape.

He has entered a not guilty plea to all five charges.

Three other police officers will give evidence for the prosecution as well as the husband of one of the victims.
