The vice speaker in American Samoa's parliament, Laolagi Fonoti Vaeao, has written to the Financial Officer of the 20th Festival of Pacific Arts Committee, Fagafaga Daniel Langkilde, to request a copy of the final report of finances.
Earlier, Representative Archie Taotasi Soliai, reminded that the Arts Festival Committee was to have provided a final report to the Fono but up to now no report has been submitted.
American Samoa hosted the festival last July.
Laolagi said this was the biggest undertaking by the territory and the government, businesses, churches and individuals all contributed to the event.
He said it's important that the public gets a full report of the festival finances.
The Co-chairs of the Arts Festival Committee provided a preliminary report to the Senate last year.
