Clans based near Mt Hagen in Papua New Guinea have finally received more than 361,000 US dollars in dividends from their business arm company Moge Nambuka Milimb Limited, more than a decade after it began operations.

It's the first dividend since the company, which owns several properties in Mt Hagen including the Inter Oil Highlander fuel service station, began operations on December 11, 1987.

The National newspaper reports the member for Hagen Open and Minister for Mining and Petroleum William Duma formally presented the dividend cheque to the families.
