American Samoa's Environmental Protection Agency has given American Samoa Power Authority the green light to fund two of ASPA's priority projects in the pipeline.

According to project information 175,000 US dollars will fund half of the Tula Wind Power Pilot Project and 67,000 dollars to the entire Tafuna solar hot water system project.

ASEPA executive director, Toafa Vaiagae, says the two projects would not only launch the introduction of natural efficient systems in the territory but also promote the concept of preserving clean environment as strongly advocated by the Governor.
