Off island investors and businesses will meet with American Samoa's representatives during a conference, sponsored by the Interior Department, to promote local economic development opportunities.
Tourism opportunities and renewable energy are two topics to be highlighted at the conference, to be held in Honolulu early next month.
Nikolao Pula of the Interior Department says the federal agency hopes the meetings will provide a forum for business and government leaders to meet with potential partners from the US mainland and around the Pacific rim.
Mr Pula says American Samoa is also being given its own 45 minute breakout session to promote its top business opportunities.
He says it will allow business partners to learn more about the incentives for doing business in American Samoa.
