Airlines PNG Limited, in Papua New Guinea has posted 50 million US dollars in operating revenue, up 13 percent from the previous year.
The 50 million US dollars operating revenue, was realised from the total revenue of 54 million US dollars from its operations for the year ending December the 31st, 2008.
The Airline says it had failed to achieve its budget projections due to operational factors affecting the airline and the whole industry.
It says while the company forecast remained a challenge in light of the global economic crisis, it felt it had relatively little exposure to international markets.
