American Samoa government employees to clock in

5:06 pm on 22 April 2009

Beginning next month all American Samoa Government employees will be punching in when they report to work and when they leave, instead of signing time sheets.

The Treasurer Magalei Logovii has issued a memo notifying departments that effective on May 31, they are required to use a punch in clock.

He says Treasury will no longer accept signed in time sheet.

No reason has been given for the change.
