Solomons to tighten security ahead of football match

Solomon Islands police will deploy more than 100 officers across Honiara town boundary limits to beef up security for key events.

The Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation says Operation Time's up will run from tomorrow until May the 1st.

There will be an O-League football match between the Solomon Islands Kolale FC and Auckland City FC of New Zealand.

Next week, Archbishop Desmond Tutu is also due in town to open Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
