Solomon Islands has appointed a new Auditor General.
Edward Ronia, who formerly worked at a senior level in the Central Bank of Solomon Islands, replaces the late Augustine Fatai, who died in July last year.
Mr Ronia was sworn in today.
The new Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Forestry, Gordon Koniaramo, has also been sworn in.
He replaces Edward Kingmele, who was recently transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock.
