Police in Samoa have confirmed that a man found dead in the boot of a taxi over the weekend was the driver.
He was 54 years old and the father of six children.
The Assistant Police Commissioner Papali'i Li'o Masipa'u is appealing for help from the public in establishing the victim's movements between 12pm and 8pm on Saturday.
The man's body was found in the boot of his taxi. His hands were tied.
He had four injuries to his neck which were suspected to have been caused by a sharp object.
