The case of another New Zealand Samoan based lawyer, Leulua'ialii Olinda Woodroffe, is set for mention in the District Court in Samoa next month after the police prosecution this week served two charges of her allegedly using insulting language.

The lawyer was charged following a complaint by the Ministry of Justice in Samoa to the police last October accusing her of unprofessional and unethical conduct.

The New Zealand based lawyer, who is also a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court in Samoa, is hiring a Queen's Counsel to represent her.

Earlier this month another New Zealand based Samoan lawyer, Iuni Sapolu, was discharged without conviction after the District Court in Apia found her guilty of two charges including obstruction of police and using insulting language.
