Fiji's Ministry of Public Works has set up a six-member unit to investigate corruption related cases within the Ministry.

Fiji Village reports a Ministry Spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete as saying the team has already found some cases which are now before the Minister.

Sainiana Waqainabete says the Officers in the unit are from the disciplined forces.

The cases brought before the Minister can either be transferred to the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption or the Public Service Commission, for action.
