CNMI warns against H1N1 flu panic

With reports of one confirmed H1N1 case in Guam, the Northern Marianas Department of Public Health is urging the public not to panic.

It says there is no confirmed H1N1 flu case in the CNMI.

The CNMI remains at pandemic alert level Phase 6, as declared by the World Health Organisation and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

In a health update issued yesterday, the department says it received word from the Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services about the H1N1 case in Guam on July the 2nd.
