Skeletons of three suspected Australian soldiers found in PNG

Three skeletons suspected to be of Australian soldiers from the Second World War have been uncovered in Papua New Guinea.

The bones were found last month during roadworks in Kokopo, in East New Britain Province.

The construction company says there was all sorts of paraphernalia and some Australian army representative came up to inspect.

The company says they think they are Australian soldiers.
