Vanuatu's Prime Minister says he is willing to bring together Fiji's regime, and civil society, chiefs and churches for dialogue.

Vanuatu is the current chair of the Melanesian Spearhead Group, and has called on Pacific Island countries to continue engaging with the regime.

Edward Natapei says any talks would be held in the Melanesian way.

"We feel it is important to organise a reconciliation ceremony. Vanuatu is prepared to bring these groups to Vanuatu to organise any reconciliation between Bainimarama and the other groups in the hope that they can come together and be involved in the whole process of reform in Fiji."
