The American Samoa Government budget for Fiscal year 2010 should be ready to go to the Fono by the first or second week of September.
Budget Director, Malemo Tausaga, says budgets for all departments and semi autonomous agencies are ready and all that's left is the cover letter from the governor to go into the budget document.
Malemo Tausaga expects the budget to be submitted to the Fono either this week or next.
