Maori Television in New Zealand is supporting a fund-raising campaign for the families of those who died in the sinking of the Tongan ferry, Princess Ashika.

The national indigenous television station is now airing a commercial promoting a relief fund account called 'Tonga 'Ofa Kihe Vahanoa', which means 'our love goes out to the deep, deep ocean' in Tongan.

Maori Television says all proceeds will go to the families of the victims.
