The final medal presentation will be held today following the completion of the rugby union sevens tournament. As expected in the sevens, Fiji ran rampant against their opponents finishing top of their pool and hot favourites to take Gold. Coach Iliesi Tanivula says it was s good day for the side and has not put any pressure on them for todays final.
"I just hope we get out there and the boys enjoy thmeselves, do what we can control, the game plan or whatever we want to do and for the boys to enjoy the moment."
And it was a great tussle at the womens singles bowls with Niue's Elizabeth Rereiti winning Niue's frst gold. She says it was a proud moment.

Samoas weightlifter Ele Opeloge has proven that she is still number one with a new Pacific and Commonwealth record in the snatch with a lift of 120 kg smashing the old record of 113 kgs. The hosts Cook Islands did themselves proud finishing with 15 gold medals with Manihiki sailor Helena williams adding two gold to the total. But its Fiji who finish top of the medals table with 32 and more than likely another one in the ruby sevens today.
