Vanuatu is to count its population starting from November the 16th.
From this week more than 30 primary school principals are in two weeks training in Port Vila.
At the end of two weeks, the teachers will become trainers for the enumerators in the islands.
The last census took place in 1999.
At that time, the total population was 186,000 people.
It is expected that the population will be well over 200,000 people.
