Vanuatu gears up for national art festival

The participants of the third Vanuatu national arts festival have begun arriving in the capital, Port Vila.

Over 200 participants will spend a week in the capital performing traditional customs like black magic from the island of Embrym.

The total cost for hosting this event is nearly 200,000 US dollars.

The official opening will take place on Monday 2nd November with a parade throughPort Vila to site near the national parliament.

The third national art festival will take place during the week with the annual musical event, FESNAPUAN.
