Vanuatu has broken the Guinness Record for most people writing a story in 24 hours.

820 locals teamed up to write a story within this set time frame about 'Vanuatu Treasures' .

The previous record was set by Austria in 2007, which recorded 797 participants.

The Daily Post quotes a World Guinness Record representative Chris Sheedy, as saying Vanuatu has now set a new record, and the complete story will be published as a book.

The project was initiated by Dr.Wendy Stenberg-Tendys of the Sea Change Lodge.
