American Samoa's governor, Togiola Tulafono, has welcomed to the territory teams from Hawai'i and Australia to participate in the annual Samoa Bowl set for this week.
The governor will host this evening at Lee Auditorium an official dinner in honor of all Samoa Bowl participants.
The first event of the Samoa Bowl is the girl's volleyball competition set for today.
The major event, which started the Samoa Bowl seven years ago, is American style football with all star team from Hawai'i faces American Samoa on New Year's Day.
Competitions continues to the weekend.
