The Solomon Islands MP for North West Guadalcanal, Siriako Usa, wants to see the agriculture funds move to Ministry of Rural Development, because he says they are not reaching farmers as intended.
He says the Agriculture Minister always boasts in Parliament about the success of the scheme but he says the funds are not going to rural farmers.
The Solomon Star reports Mr Usa saying the agriculture funds should be moved to the Rural Development Ministry and administered in the same way as the fishery fund.
