Fiji workshop covers new crime decrees

Training is underway in Fiji for those responsible for enforcing new decrees that come into effect at the start of next month.

The Public Prosecutors office is running the course to cover the Crimes Decree, the Criminal Procedure Decree and the Sentencing and Penalties Decree.

Those involved include public prosecutors, prosecutors from the Independent Commission Against Corruption, the army legal services, the National Provident Fund and 70 senior police officers.
