The Fiji interim government has decided to rename a building in Suva that had been named after the ousted prime minister Laisenia Qarase.
It says Qarase House will now be known as FNCDP Complex, which stands for Fiji National Council for Disabled Persons.
The interim government says the measure has immense positive implications.
Mr Qarase, who was removed from office in the 2006 military coup, this week briefly appeared in the high court charged with abuse of office.
