Samoa's old court house closes

7:34 am on 25 January 2010

Samoa's 79-ear old court house has been closed permanently starting this week as the Ministry of Justice and Courts administration together with the Supreme and District Courts have moved to a new state of the art court house built with the assistance of the Chinese government.

The new complex will house all sections of the judiciary including the offices for Ministry of Justice as well as all court rooms including the Lands and Titles court.

It will be officially opened tomorrow afternoon with a high level delegation from the Chinese government attending the ceremony.
