The police in Papua New Guinea are trying to identify those responsible for the killing of four villagers in a dispute over land ownership.
Four young men were killed in the fight which broke out near the PNG LNG site on the outskirts of Port Moresby, between villagers from Boera and Porebada.
The police say they have a unit in the area to keep both sides at bay and prevent any further killings in retaliation.
There have been reports the dispute may have been over ownership of the site of the LNG project.
But ExxonMobil says it is too early to speculate on its cause.
It says it has temporarily suspended work in the area out of respect for the victims and their families
