Tropical cyclone warning for Southern Cook Islands cancelled

The Fiji Metservice says the tropical cyclone warning issued for the Southern Cook Islands has now been cancelled.

It says tropical cyclone Oli is now moving slowly away from the Southern Cook Islands.

The metservice says the cyclone is still moving east south east at 10 knots.

It says while the special weather bulletins for the Southern Cook Islands have now been cancelled, strong wind warnings are still in force.
