The American Samoa Government and the MYD Samoa shipyard are expected to return to court next week over the disputed repair work on the Government owned inter island vessel, MV Sili.
This week the High Court ordered the Government to pay 200 thousand US dollars to allow the shipyard to finish the work.
MYD Samoa had stopped work last month claiming it was owed money but the Government had not paid the money because the shipyard had not completed the terms of the contract.
Our correspondent in American Samoa Fili Sagapolutele says the court will follow up the case next week to ensure the order is followed through.
"One of the whole issues that these two segments of the community fighting amongst each other. And then the court's concern is joined by law makers, because they're fighting and these people on the Manu'a Island group are stuck without ocean transportation and just something needs to be done."
Fili Sagapolutele says some members of the public are irritated the Government has been arguing over money when it has already allocated 1.3 million US dollars for the repairs to be completed.
