Anna Pollock, CEO of the London based tourism consultancy DestiCorp Limited, says the meeting aims to help tourism stakeholders build networks.

She also says it's important to remain true to traditional values.

Well getting the participants to consider the kind of tourism that is most appropriate to the South Pacific so they are masters of their own destiny for them to have the ability to select in a sense or make conscious choices about the scale, the kind of values that they hold dear to make sure that they develop the tourism industry that's in alignment with those values.
