Vanuatu's Minister for Internal Affairs, Moana Kalosil Carcasses, says the government has plans to make doing business in his country easier.

A report on the economy by the Asian Development Bank says constraints on the private sector must be lifted if unprecedented economic growth is to continue.

The report says Vanuatu is one of the fastest growing economies in the Pacific and predicts growth of about four and a half percent this year.

Moana Kalosil Carcasses acknowledges the need to assist private sector development:

"With the help of the Minister of Finance we are going to create the one-stop-shop that we want to create. We are investing in a new building that will cater for all customs, immigration, labour department, VIPA, in one building so that investors coming into the country doing application within three days you should have all your relevant authorisation so you can do business in Vanuatu."
