Shipping services in Fiji have returned to normal after the National Disaster Management Office issued the all-clear yesterday.

A media statement issued by the Ministry of Information earlier said that all domestic and civil aviation services would be suspended until the weather cleared.

It said the only airport that remained open was the Nadi International Airport. All domestic flights were cancelled on Monday and Tuesday but some international flights continued.

Yesterday, airstrips and airports around the country opened as operations returned to normal.

Public service transportation also returned to normal yesterday after the government called all civil servants back to work.
