The chairman of one of the largest tuna supply companies, Tri Marine International, has flown into American Samoa on his private jet for talks with Governor Togiola Tulafono.

Tri Marine is one of the companies that may operate the tuna processing facility if the government takes over the Samoa Packing plant which closed eight months ago.

Renato Ricato spent two hours in talks with the Governor and also looked over both that plant and the Star Kist Samoa cannery.

He also inspected the shipyard at Satala and visited fishing boats owned by the company.
