Fiji's national carrier, Air Pacific, plans to re-introduce jet-operated international flights into Nausori Airport in Suva from July the 2nd.

The Civil Aviation Authority has approved the upgrade of the airfield and airport to allow 737-700 aircraft to operate.

This means Suva to Auckland tickets are now on sale.

The Suva-Auckland service will initially resume with a weekly Friday flight, and the airline will add a second weekly flight at the same scheduled time on Mondays beginning in August.
