THE Papua New Guinea Women in Business Foundation has been assured that land will be found in Port Moresby for the the organisation's proposed micro bank.
The Governor of the National Capital District Powes Parkop made the assurance this week when he presented K10,000 cheque to Women in Business founder and businesswoman Janet Sape.
Ms Sapes says while the idea for the micro bank is targeted at the foundation's members, it will be open for use by others.
She is calling on the government to honour its commitment to release the funds for the micro bank as she has has already set up a framework for the bank and people to establish it.
