In Papua New Guinea, new and old businesses in Kiunga, Western Province are expected to become stronger following the establishment of the Western Province chamber of commerce.
The new chamber is expected to help build local businesses and partnership ventures in the Western Province.
Chamber president Roland Kerina says the Western Province chamber of commerce will be dedicated to advancing the economic vitality of Kiunga and Western Province with a strong vision for the future.
Governor Bob Danaya told the Post Courier newspaper that Kiunga is a fast growing and expanding township.
