Three Asian men are still being interrogated by Fiji police after a mid-week drug bust by police and customs officials.

The officers conducted a raid on Suva Wharf on Wednesday night, and discovered three cartons of what they believe is a Chinese flu medicine which is used in the production of methamphetamine.

A police spokesman Atunaisa Sokomuri says the drugs could have a street value of more than 15 million US dollars.

He says police are trying to determine if Fiji is a transit point for the drugs.

"In the cartons according to our officers contains Contact NT. It originates from mainland China, and the destination, we've seized here in Fiji. And the other destination we are still interrogating the three people to determine that."

Atunaisa Sokomuri says the drug bust is the biggest police have seen for a long time.
