Auditions are being held in Solomon Islands for roles in the upcoming film, Mister Pip, based on the book of the same name by New Zealand author, Lloyd Jones.

The story is set in the Papua New Guinea province of Bougainville during the civil war.

The filming is to be directed by New Zealander, Andrew Adamson.
