Farmers in American Samoa, Hawai'i and Guam can apply for assistance

Farmers in American Samoa, Hawai'i and Guam can now apply for assistance from a U.S. Department of Agriculture fund to help geographically disadvantaged farmers.

The programmes is part of the 2008 Farm Bill which aims to assists farmers and ranchers with their transport costs.

This could be used for seed, fertilizer, chemical, boxes, fencing material, tractors, tillers, irrigation equipment, and animals.
