Manu'a residents in American Samoa are asked about the status of the vessel Foisia, which was purchased to ferry passengers between the islands of Ofu and Olosega and Tau in Manu'a.
The boat has not made any trips since April.
Port Administration officials said the vessel is awaiting a new generator.
When the vessel stopped running in early April, it was said to have problems with its rudder.
But when that problem was fixed, the boat's generator died.
The acting director of Port, Christopher King, says a generator is being ordered.
